My journey toward becoming a Holistic Health Coach and Yoga Teacher was born from my own path of healing. For most of my life, I struggled with anxiety, low self-confidence, disordered eating, overexercising, and feeling disconnected from my body and mind. For years, I turned to food and exercise as coping mechanisms, but it wasn’t until I hit rock bottom that I realized something had to change.
As a child, I had a strong connection with my body and movement. But as I got older, societal pressures pulled me away from my intuition. I struggled with restrictive eating and overexercising, leading to exhaustion and hormonal imbalances. My nervous system was screaming at me, and I felt like there was no way out.
Then, one day, I came across a post about cycle syncing and nervous system regulation, and that's when everything started to shift. This is where my passion for holistic health really began.


After diving deep into research and self reflection, I knew that this was the path I needed to take. I was scared to try something different, to let go, but I knew it was right.
I slowly started to replace my high intensity workouts with walking, yoga, and pilates, made gentle shifts in what I was eating, and really focused on lowering stress. Soon, my body began to respond in powerful ways.
By moving less, eating more, and listening to what my body was asking for, my entire life began to change. I had the energy to find my passions, and started to let my true self shine through for the first time.
The more that I learned about nervous system regulation, breath work, meditation, intuitive eating, and cycle syncing, the more I realized how powerful these practices truly are. The results were completely transformational - emotionally and physically.
I wanted to learn more and share my passion with others, so in 2023 I enrolled at The Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I became certified as a Holistic Health Coach, and was able to gain an even deeper understanding of how true health goes far beyond just food and exercise.
I studied about how different areas of our lives, such as career, environment, relationships, sense of purpose, etc., can impact our health just as much (if not more) than the food that we eat. Gaining this perspective helped me to understand that true health is really found in caring for the whole person: mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
In 2024, after earning my coaching certification, I made the decision to fly to Mexico to complete my yoga teacher training, which ended up (unexpectedly) being one of the most life changing experiences I've ever had.
I'd experienced how much the physical practice of yoga had helped me along my journey, and I wanted to learn more, but I never could have imagined how much I would grow during my time there.
I thought I knew what it meant to slow down and listen to my body, but this experience completely broke me open to show me how much deeper I could go.
I realized how much I still resisted stillness, and I was able to explore even more levels of healing through energy work, sound healing, breath work, and meditation. That experience didn't just expand my knowledge - it completely changed me. It gave me the tools, presence, and perspective that now shape everything that I do.
